My first job is in Richmond, over by Pack N Save...

GoreTex boots, waterproof undies and string motorbike vest would probably be appropriate gear...

If I was a Honda rider...

Yup, a new caskading waterfall appeared on my section, then a lake until I went and cleared some debris. Not sure where all the water went then, but the section below us looked pretty nautical.

Just before the rain came I had pulled the tank, seat etc off the KLR and laid them neatly on the shed floor. Shed flooded.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Was at a job today and he tells me he rode his pushy home from the port, through the railway reserve right into Stoke.
    At 6:45pm.
Was crapping himself. He had to go on the edge in some bits where the path was 1.5m under water.

Now that would have been an adventure...

Great weather, great route, great ride!

I have no idea where you live however as I passed this sign I thought I must have been very close

Among many great back roads, Pakawau Bush Rd, Dry Rd and Cowin Rd were the highlights. A bit of wrestle crossing the high flowing Anatori River. I put together the route/GPS article here: Pakawau Bush Road > Dry Road > Cowin Road

    Catch you next time mate...

    Dusty Butt re-run 23 - 27 May

Just to see if anyone out there is interested in a re-run of most of the DB1K 2013 route. Planning to leave Richmond Thursday morning getting back Monday night or Tuesday the following week. Weather booked - let me know and I can PM you the details.
    Cheers

I've found some extremely cool tracks in Hira.
For the bigger bikes however, I need to find some ones with less extreme in them.

MTB duathlon next weekend again. It's going to be wet and I've got a tweaked calf and hammy...

    What could possibly go wrong?

Did you know that willy & max bags are the perfect size to carry 2x Castrol GTX & SCA degreaser on sale.
They just sit there dirty & staunch
