I tried one on the 350 once... Hated it on the road. I did a ride to Wairoa gorge then took it off and gave it to Topo (I think )

Yes provided my new stator arrives in time

Anyone know a good place to get some new side panel plastics and a pair of steel braided brake hoses for a DRZ 400? Fire damage has rooted the rear brake hose and exhaust plastic side panel.

Merrily laughing my tits off at that clown Charlie Borman. What a twat he is, "oooh it's such a challenge" you know any Muppet riding an AG100 would cruise past him on that ridiculous half ton of BMWobbleyou

    APC Rally - May 2014

Anyone interested in doing this: http://www.advridermag.com.au/wp-con...tails-2014.pdf

The APC Rally has been going for 3 years 2014 will be the 4th year - a good way to see some of the better bits of Oz (yes there are some that aren't just red dust) plan to make it the backbone of a 4-5 week trip next year. I plan to get my entry in later this month so if you want to join me let me know.
    Cheers
    JC

Yeah, I could be keen over weekend 22-24June, it's been a long time between rides. It's 6 months since I last got my leg over the KTM. Very sad but true, with house renovations, selling rental house, new baby, and work, blah blah blah.
The scooter has been getting a thrashing though

I'm in Chch for the rest of this month, back to Karamea after that, if there are any June onwards rides up your way I'm a starter

I'll be over there riding for at least 2 to 3 months, I've been toying with dates and really wanted to include the 2014 Australasian Safari Adventure Tour but the dates are quite a way off the May, June, July months I'm planning to ride. I'll be making my way up to the Northern Territory and aiming to miss the the humid/muggy period. The dates and concept of this ride interest me. I'll keep in touch, whether it be catching up for this ride or joining you on a leg along the way I'll be keen to catch up either way should our dates/routes cross.

    Cheers

No.... it'll be a stunning Nelson winters day. The sun will shine and the birds will be singing

I was thinking just a cruisey ride out to Waitata or Bulwer, nothing too gnarly. Maybe drop some fresh bread and milk out to Underground in exchange for caffeine Those who want something a little more "adventurous" could slide their way down the Tennyson track or go snuffling around for some other goat track.
Think of it as a practice for the cape to cape ride
I'll probably be busy this weekend , so could pencil it in for the following one ?
