you lucky bastids

there is sooo much awesome riding around Reefton

Waitahu River and Big River are simply brilliant

Napoleon Hill/Mosquito Creek are in a league all of their own

so many rides - so few weekends......

remember youve got to arrange access and pay to get into Napoleons Hill - its worth it just to get to Mosquito Creek.

I love the "multiple hazards" ones that say "don't enter without permission" and there's no contact details to get permission.

they're a really nice young farming couple (allow time for a 'chat') who are a bit gun shy after hordes of 4wd's have knocked down gates and generally been a pain.

I would love to be going, but alas I cannot , but I do have a week off from the 23rd and am planning on going on a few big day rides if anyone is free and has some good suggestions.
