i found cornering on gravel on schmidt arse puckering - still do in fact - always worried about front washing out on the big (powerful) bikes

I went through the Mot Highway and dry weather road then st arnaud, then home. Was nice although am having confidence issues cornering the BMW on tar. Got owned by a guy on a DR650 in the twisties and pretty sure he wasn't even trying.

Why the confidence issues on the tar? A DR on the twisties is a pretty good mount tho.

I'm happy to go in & out of the old whanga rd but was unsure how far past the carpak I had to ride to find the bit that drops down onto the old rd. I still remeber my slide along the tarmac there.
I can never remember how far to go, you just end up there, eventually...

Not often an 18hp bike can do a 2nd gear burnout on a dry sealed road...

Cool, the Emporium can be shifted slowly as we're renting out the house but keeping the shed.
I want to build benches/shelves etc in the new Emporium first...
