We'll be into the bach in a box thing when the kids leave. I find it amusing how many huge houses I work in with a couple rattling around in them.

Over this side of town (the North Shore) it's the price of the sections that make it unfinancially reasonable to plonk a tiny house on. Out the wild west it may be a different story. They need to opne up a few more areas of land with the idea of having smaller house communities with communal playing areas & gardens etc.
In the last month I have wired up a large gypsy caravan thing & a semi tiny house up the Brook. Just don't talk to me about bloody 'eco' houses.
Talking to an older couple that just spent 2 years travelling in a camper bus in Aussie. They have a lovely old 2 story place here but when they came back they would use the kitchen then go back to their biggish bedroom & sitting area as they got used to the smaller area of the bus & having all the extra rooms seemed so superfluous.

Just what Nelson needs, another hippie..
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
Anyone go down to the NutBuster?
I spied a TT250/350 in one of the photos.
Looks like NordieBro got 12th in Gold class on a 1990's RM125.
Over 5hrs of racing!
You still on for this ride James? I am heading from Karamea through the Mackley tomorrow morning (river levels permitting re current rain), no set plans for Sat/Sun, just making my way to Chch by Sunday night. I'm presuming Napoleons Hill will be out as they don't normally let people through when river levels are high, but plenty of other riding options in the area. Keen to catch up along the way and likely camp up at Nelson Creek too if that is still your plan.

Seemingly to be happening....they're meeting in Wakefield @ 8:30, so I figure around 10 ish in Murch....11 ish Inagahua....
Reefton for lunch?
Dunno about the river levels, but we havnt had much rain here & seeing as its been dry as around here , I think stuff'll be running off pretty quickly....
Cheers for that mate. As for the rain, a front pushing up the Coast supposedly dropping up to 100mm has already turned the low clear rivers on this side of Kahurangi into high, brown, angry rivers... it's now heading over your way =)
Should pass and settle for a good day of riding tomorrow and Sunday though

You have to remember to hang some shoes from the power lines too
Sorry for being a bit slack, but I haven't really been near a p.c. for a bit, and I don't really like posting from my phone.
Yeah Josh, still all go despite the dodgy forecast. Everything has been planned with the military precision of Dads ArmyBe good to catch up (and have someone who knows where they're going
