    It's more of a nylon/plastic mesh than a foam.
    Doesn't degrade in petrol.
Planes use it to reduce slosh.

It can make your bike feel a whole lot lighter as there's no slosh type momentum in corners/cornering.

If its nylon/mesh and not foam, am I right in thinking that there is minimal loss of fuel capacity then?

I think about 1%ish loss of fuel.
I have only ever once been a victim of slosh, but it would be interesting to see what actual difference it makes
may have to do a bit of product testing.
