Warewolf has done one on the 640.
I usually use the XR250 so should be quicker on the DR
The B-grade sections are usually suitable for kids on 80's but kids on 80's are often mad little buggers.
If it's not too wet then some good tyres and you're away.
Last time I rode Kikiwa it only had 1 or 2 b-grade bog sections but the views...
we'll have to organise a time to meet & maybe pizzas after?
Cant be too hard......................
Cmon, you lot. If nothing else it'll be good for a laugh.
Might even have to stop at the Belgrove for a quiet one on the way home?
What is this break-fast you speak of? you lot seem to break things going slow
I like the idea of a coldie/pizza on the way home tho

GO BRO GO
Yes I rode the 640A on the last Laid Back at a different venue. It was hot 'n' dry. Hard rocky base with lots of (optional) A-grade very steep loose downhills, with the occasional uphill bit on them. So nothing to really trouble a porky under-tyred under-suspended over-weight adventure bike. In the wet, you might struggle if it gets even remotely boggy or greasy - so get in while the weather is good!!
I did have to stop after nearly every lap and crank up the suspension clickers, and I did basically destroy an admittedly already-used front tyre in one day by breaking 80% of the side knobs off. Helluva fun day, really showed that the 640A is an off-roader at heart, but quite tiring on the big beastie (versus say 96kg of 2T with better & more suspension).
Will have to make an effort to go if you lot are going to put in a showing.
Cheers,
Colin
