Hey mr jatz, I have just clicked to who Ive been waving to on the Triumph as we pass going to work in the mornings,what have you done to the BIG ?. my dr clocked all the sevens as I arrived home this evening.
I recon it is just about time to fit the little fairing back on the dr for the winter commute.

Wondered if you realized who it was on the Triumph, Bigs sitting in the shed, waiting for a new rear rim.
Almost time for the fairing ? Heated grips get swithched on as soon as the bikes started in the morning so they're warm when I start riding.
Whens the next ride ?

Yus! Fran spotted a 110/90-17 front Pirelli MT60 on trademe for me, I'll be able to join in at last!

Good to see you're getting some ADV rubber...just watch those MT60's in the wet, very twitchy from past experience.

It's also about time we finished off the other side of the Cob ride too.

mmm Cobb, never been up there, been asked often enuff but never convenient. Got a new rear tyre I wanna test before reefton ride.

Got bent and it's too heavy duty to straighten,or they just didn't have a hammer big enough, I'll bring it home and play with it, bit of heat, bit of a nudge with the big hammer.
I'd be a starter for a gallop up the cobb

Sorry mate , never got a chance to look, had too many away this week and and had to do some work myself, and aren't back in till friday as workin in Blenheim next week, and no laptop etc.

Hi all, looks like Javahead and jezza will be down next weekend to give the safari bike a good run. At this stage we will be having pizza/drinks at the "Tap" in mapua on the friday night if anyone wants to catch up and talk bikes etc.

The guys get into picton around 5.30pm so should be in mapua around 7.30ish, possibly the best chance you'll have to check out a "real rally(e)" bike in the flesh.

And Fran's got the rear that I need...typical! Went over to Takaka today to pick up the spare keys. Not a fan of the shady/damp corners after hearing about Marties spill, got overtaken by another DRZ400SM with a number plate 6 numbers off mine, at least with the adventure rubber I'll have an excuse for taking it easy in the corners.
