Quite nice sunset tonight up top of Linton Hill. The firebreak route up is pretty damn coolWill definitely have to do some more exploring in there, much has changed since I was there last.
Saw something unusual on the Maungatapu Tk, between the Maitai Rd and the caretakers: a quad parked nose-down arse-up bottom-forward, leaned up against the bank. The things you see when you don't have a camera.
Some roadworks just this side of the first ford, looks like it could become sloppy greasy mud. Went up to the saddle & back, looked really slippery with the rains just gone, but wasn't. Could be due to the rear T63 at 22psi rather than 25. Or the improved shock action now I've got rid of the lowering links.
Reckon we should do a night ride to the Clansman at Havelock, via the big M.
Cheers,
Colin

It's a good thing you'll only be going up the other side of the Wairau and looking over at Mt Pat then. Imagine the overload if you actually rode up there![]()
So that 110/90-17 MT60 showed up today...turns out it's a rear tyre, will that be a problem? And if not does anyone mind showing me how to switch it in exchange foror three? Of course I'd be the one doing it...just a point in the right direction would be great.
I've been told that there's no way it will fit my 3.5" (I think) front
Opinion?
"If in exceptional cases a rear tyre is used as a front tyre the tyre must be mounted against the running direction arrow."

Does that mean I can fit the rear tyre to the front?
