Went for a wee tootle up sharlands this arvo and they seem to be doing a lot of logging up there now and buggering up a lot of the tracks, mind you they are making new ones too. One of these new tracks i thought i would follow as it looked like a good way home. part way down I knew there was no going back up it so in full control
I got to the bottom of a steep valley. i went up every sidetrack trying to find a way out and every one was blocked or just too steep.
. Anyway I ended up riding into the back of the rifle range and thought aha a way out, but the gate was locked.
Tried a couple of hills to get out but one had a tree blocking it and the other looked way too steep, but i was desperate to get home so tried anyway. It was going quite well but I had to back off cos the klr was about to flip (didn't know that was possible) so laid her down and walked to the top to see if I could see a way out. I was knackered so took me gear off and tried to ride down but high sided and rolled down the hill and the bike was upside down leaking fluids everywhere. managed to turn it round and get going and eventually found a horrible track out. On the way home my rear brake didn't work, and upon investigation the whole rear was covered in oil from when the oil leaked out through the breather when bike was inverted and out the drain and over the rear disc.
so be careful up there cos its all changed
I am now shattered
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
Mahnn!...that sounded like fun, next time give me a ring. So I can get the XRR out and crash it. As it was I took the SP1 out and spent some time talking to the boys in blue....hehe!.

Paved Roads are just another example of Wasted Taxpayer Dollars
yea I know bad form on my part, but the truth is I did think about it but that would have meant digging for the camera at one stage cos it was sorta buried in dirt. I have my camera strapped to the handlebar cross bar. The other eason was at the time my mood was not that good, I might have even swore once.
Will do better next time (photos not riding).

Woodman you deserve a medal for that ride. It's actually way easier to get out off that track with a mountainbike.
Any locals got a 17 knobblie they want to sell cheap for the CCA. Otherwise might try one of the $54 jobbies from T7. Any place local that has cheapies? i'm gonna get a new 606 for the front as they are great & last a while.
Thanks in advance.
A 500km old MT21 rear OK?
Only done a beach race and the Clarence.
If I do do the CCA it'll be with the Kenda 760 rear in the shed and it'll be bald getting back from Picton to home...
