as above ^! shame about the start but pretty happy with the riding we got in, glad we still made it!

damn van needs some loving, maybe its the vans way of telling me to stop using it and fix it all up first !

the one thing i could have liked is maybe another couple different A grade parts, but really it was good to get a ride in , it has been a long time, and straight away i suffered from nonridingitis and sore arms, pathetic ! although my shoulder has been sore for last 4 or so days with no apparent reason why, hope to do alot more riding soon, that hill was long and loose, loosey and gummy,

as a whole, clay and mud covered knobs with straw holding it together was a common site. i think was slippy, but didnt deteriorate as much as i thought it would! wonder how many riders entered!

    roll on next one!

The roads/tracks with a hard rocky base hang together quite well.

Yep, it's the only option these days.

Photos of the day from Janine: 2010 Borlase Forest Laid Back

The short vid at #45 shows just the top 1/4 of the A-grade climb, the easy gentle bit. Vid #46 is the bottom of the A-grade descent (as is photo #24).
    Cheers,
    Colin

Apparently the Classic MX was good as well.

Shane took Graces PE175 and my XR250 over and the Ray Anderson Memorial Trophy was contested in Smallbore this year
(The class that races for the Ray Anderson is drawn out of a hat).

He raced the PE in Smallbore and the XR in Midbore against the 250 2-strokes.

He won the Ray Anderson on the PE and was getting holeshots on the mighty XR cause the 2-strokes couldn't hook up off the line

Maybe I'll push my muddy bike outside the shed so it gets a wash... been getting it dirty riding in the rain for the last few weekends

FYI Macleans motorcycles in Vanguard St has now shifted next door to the old auto electricians & is called City Motorcycles.
Lester also has a MX tyre wholesaler thing that hasn't got going yet but will find out some prices.
