I'm hoping to just have a bag or my panniers that I can strap onto the bike, a minimal amount of extra gear beyond whats required to ride.

That video is weird, I wasn't patient enough to watch it through.

Over the summer I had a few rides on my Father in Laws 12,000km GB400 which he has decided to hold on to :tears:

Was really nice, first bike with clip ons and (relatively!) rear set pegs that I've ridden, surprisingly comfortable!

As per my post in the boxers thread, a burgundy R80 was stolen from Footprints Hostel on the beach front road south of Nelson last night, see here for pics:

Padmei, you're going to have to give it back. The gearbox would be a straight bolt up, but the shock will be way too short...
IT'S JUST BETTER WHEN THERE'S TWINS INVOLVED..

Hmmm I find it most perculiar that someone stole that. A lot of dirt bikes have gone missing over the past year which is understandable due to the type of riders who ride dirt bikes however BMWs????

    It'll turn up tho

Y'see, the thing is.... The Aorere doesn't take long to get through, it's the ride there and back that takes the time. How does this sound......?
We will be leaving Mot/Riwaka pub at 3 heading for the Aorerere. Those who want to come too are more than welcome.
No further corespondence will be entered into on the subject....
    unless I change my mind

Have you had a look on trademe for a new spacebar Padders ? Your posts are kinda taxing after several woodys
