Yeah, would have liked to get some footage in that tight single track but there wasn't even room to jam the bike out of the way.

    Molesworth-St James-Rainbow weekend...

Will probably have to make the go/no decision tomorrow to still get the gate combos from DOC in time.
Forecast is now for rain from Friday afternoon 'till Monday morning.
Nothing heavy though so even a long days splash down Hanmer and back is feasible.

Hi NordieBoy, not sure if you know or not but the key codes for Edwards Pass and Mailing Pass are all done online now, nice and easy, type in your details and it spits out the codes for both. Linky is at the bottom of this article Edwards Pass

Please excuse incomplete data, GPX files, and map status. I'm using the new APIV3 and having to implement a few JavaScript workarounds to get the KML files loading, zooming, and then refocusing nicely, getting there but its taking hours of trial and error

    Nice one

I may cross paths with you, I'm heading up through there on Saturday, through to Porika Track, Braeburn, New Creek to Denniston, then up to Karamea. If I don't see you, have a good ride

Just used a reel off the back of the bike. No problem.
Bringing it back in afterward was a bugger though.

At this stage MrsJ and I are going through Rainbow on Sat. I have the combo for the Edwards/Maling pass gates.
Coming back through Molesworth on Sunday, with a detour up Altimarloch.
All depends on if Piglet wants to lend his mother his bike though
Waiting on a new stator from the states for her 350

Looks like I'm going down on Friday with Jenni in the van. Possible heavy rain on Sat.

Just going to have to do it some other weekend, in the dry

Next weekend is the first x-country round at Matariki in Tapawera.
Don't know wether to race or photo...

    Still going?
I can crooze wif youse now.

Either on the DR with worn tyres and sloppy chain or the TT with brand new race knobblies.
At least it'll bed the new front brake pads in. The rear brake shoes are shot after Lamb Valley and I'm told the hub is too worn to use normal shoes and I need to get some made up to suit...
