Any tales to tell?
Has anyone noticed the huge number of bikes going thru nelson this week & weekend. The old Burt Munroe will be pumping. I was tempted to go but the weather lately has been pretty grotty- Long tent pegs will be needed.
In life as in dance Grace glides on blistered feet
No tales at all. Just your normal boring 30km of tracks I'd never been on type ride. No video clips of anyone falling off at all either.
No interesting tales here. Fitted new rear cush drive hub and bearings, and new tkc80. Bloody hell it was like fitting a pushbike tyre almost. 120/90/17 is quite tall and skinny looking, but it seemed ok on a scrub in ride down the river today.
Hanging out for a big ride, thinking somewhere in the Sounds, see how far I can get, seal or gravel not fussy.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

90% of all Harleys built are still on the road... The other 10% made it back home...
Ducati... Makeing riders into mechaincs since 1964...
ah well
back to the shed, tappets to set, coolant to change, think i'll fit that 25litre safari monster too...![]()
Lots of bikes heading south down the Wet Coast. We drove in pouring rain sun-Mon, cleared as we got to Monstaman's, but at least we were 24hrs ahead of the floods.
Bit of a change in pace from cranking the 640 in as much as you dare to dawdling along in the car to avoid the wee lad getting carsick.
Any rides happening this weekend?
Hi Jeff is your coffeehouse open on Friday? If yes how do we (2) find it.
Is the Matai Valley Rd open yet or is there another way to access the Maungatpu track? If no, should we transit thru Sharlands Rd?
After French Pass what's the closest fuel heading to Picton?
Sorry about the list of questions.
Andy
