    2007 KTM 125SX $5000 - Sound fishy?

Check this bike out it's immaculate and has a buy now of just $5000

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-170026827.htm

That is a good $3500 below market value.

    Dodgy?

I don't think its fishy. Who says its immaculate? I can see extensive wear on the right side engine case. Lots of bikes are not moving at the moment. This one should.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

    i can not see a 2 year old 125 being worth $8500,

i think its a little cheap, but looks well used, could be a good buy

No don't be qouting me, but I think that it was the 07 one that has a problem with the cylinder fucking out and you loose all compression. They where swapping them out under warranty.......

The guy selling it is a good guy he does dynotuning in Tauranga he used to own GP Honda in Tauranga, i dont think you have anything to worry about. Looks like a real good buy, 125s are cheap and easy to fix even if you budget for a new piston rings and maybe bearings if ya can be bothered, pull it down clean and grease it all and it still owes ya under 6k

Plus 125's are much harder to sell then the 250's or 4T's. Go see and have a look for yourself. Some people just can't be bothered trtying to sell thing's like this so just have a cheap price.

ok flang you've done your research now "there's the quick" and those that miss out!!!!!

BTW only a few hundy to fix the engine even if its shagged just try and make sure the bottom end sounds and feels ok if you can??

i would never buy a second hand (or new one for that matter) 250 4t but a 125 2t is all good,

buy it and ride your self to financial freedom!

i would disagree with that, the popularity of the Junior 125 class makes the 125's easier to sell than 250 2t's

I'm not on the look out for a new bike I just came across it while trolling TardMe.

Should be a quick sale at that price.

nothing fishy about that bike its more than likey been raced hence the "7" raced bikes need the crank replaced yearly and its only a 125 they loose alot in value as not many want them either a starter bike or a stepping stone for a 10 year old
