    SH22 over the weekend

Forecast is OK so all you jokers heading down 22 over the weekend keep it real.

It's not in good nick after all the rain, quite a few slips - big and small - well coned off and speed limited - and there is a lot of Pine debris through the overhung sections, some moss in the always shadowed corners and some do not dry out till September.

    Real.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

Did the Raglan road this am in the rain and again it needs to be said its in crap condition, major slippage on the top of the divi and LOTS of slippery stuff I reckon I had about 5 slippy slideys, low speed and controlable, but going quick on a sportsbike wouldnt be.
    take care
Ive run out of fucks to give

Anyone know what condition the Kaiaua-Clevedon road is in? I'm meeting a mate at Kawakawa Bay tomorrow at 12 and riding back to the Kaiaua chip shop. It was a bit green and slimy in the northern twisties when I went through in the car 3 weeks ago.

No problems on ''my'' section, from Otorohaea Trig Rd to Hetherington Rd.A few well marked slips and a bit of crap on the road, but you'd have to be blind to miss it.Wet and dry spots are a trap though,to be expected of course - but the road goes instantly wet where you don't expect it...like in full sun where it can't dry the road of excess water.

Otorohaea Trig Rd is a bit of a mess,it must of been in a hell of a state last week.Gravel has been dumped in spots all along the road, the clay underneath has been exposed and is very soft.A bit of care needed....but plenty of traction so I hit it pretty hard.
