Trying to get rid of it before the new laws come in.

I would happily take it - it's a nice-looking bike. Just not that that price.

Still, horses for courses - a bike is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

That is expensive, but id still rather spend $7500 on that than $7500 on a brand new hyosung

    That makes one of us...

Tempting to ask "If it's going up in value - why are you selling it?"

    really?
jesus - i've owned a 3ma and it wasn't all that. nice when it ran right - they are notorious for seizing and had that PITA 18" rear wheel.
i'd be all over a new ninja if i was limited to a 250.
    that yamaha isn't worth $3k.
EVERYTHING will be buggered, perished, or unavailable.
they just weren't made to still be on the road 20 years later.

    ..

My 1985 Yammie RZ250 is goin great guns.... for an old 2-stroke... but you could hardly expect $7k for it!! (I'll take it if anyone feels inclined to buy it off me!!)

I would be surprised if anyone bought it at that price, you can't even call it a collectors item! Well, not yet anyway! Do they honestly expect someone to even look at it for that price?? Just a cursory look on TradeMe shows a whole lotta better bikes for cheaper!!!
Missus: What the f*&k is that???!!!! Where the f*&k do you think that's going??
Me: It's a [insert old broken vehicle here] can't you tell?
Missus: Oh for f*&k's sake... [slams door]
Me: Phew, lucky she didn't see what's on the trailer!
