Seeing as I had sod all else to do but come home and bleat on KB about it, I shepherded the rider at 75km/h from Manukau to Papakura, where he/she buggered off toward Karaka, and I made my way back to my place.
So folks, please check your tail lights regularly, don't give them 4 wheeled bastards any more excuses for de-shinying your ride than they already have.
And if someone reads this who had a car at a close but safe distance dogging them from Manukau to Papakura offramp in the wee hours, you're welcome.

I've been a cage driver all my life until I got my bike nearly a year ago. Probabley guilty of many "sins"
Now when a bike passes me at 150k/h+ I still beat Bloody idiot !!!! ( my surgen joked at me last week AS I WENT INTO THEATRE and said he and his collegues refered to bikers as"POTENTIAL DONERS" ) but I find myself so much more aware of 2 wheel road users and often sheild them from other cagers.
Perhaps everyone should have to start on a bike so as to "be aware" of bikes and our vulnerability.
It's better to have ridden and crashed, than never to have ridden at all....R.I.P. Bruce Bennett (old fart-KB.) 1955-2005 posted by Bronwyn Bennett.
