Official word from the auctioneers:

The merchandise will be offered in lots/groups of similar items. Sorry I can't confirm how large the lots will be until Friday, but must stress that due to the quantity involved the Lots will be larger. I expect that this will cater more to speculators & trade than private individuals. i.e.. 4 x Motorcycle jackets same brand/style various sizes: 1 Lot. 4 x Helmets same value/various sizes: 1 Lot, Box Lot Various goggles & Gloves.etc
We may offer some identical lots with the option of more, but can only do this when they are identical.
As much as we wish to do the best (turnover) for the liquidation, we must sell & have dispersed all items to clear the premises.

So the auction is going to mostly be of interest to retailers I guess, as even if a group of people got together, the groupings of sizes etc might not suit.

Bummer, I would like a few things too but not in a position to buy a bunch of stuff just for the one or two items I want. Although note the auctioneers say there is no reserve so you never know....

A shame, but can see why when you see in the photos how much stuff there is. It would be a week long auction otherwise.

I've been to a couple of auctions before where they had multiples of many items. They would auction one, and then offer the rest to anyone else at the same price and you just held up your bidder card if you wanted one. Guess that wouldn't work too well with sized pants/jackets/boots/helmets etc.....

The same reason i can not afford to get anything there (sigh)


If anybody ends up with a shitload of tank bags (or tail bags better) if i could get one it would be swell If it is say a lot of 5 i will pay 1/5 of the TOTAL cost (ie bid and premium), shipping and 20 bucks for ya troble. (as long as it isnt toooo exspencive ie over 150-180 bucks.
