Which way are you going from Awakino to Ohura? Over the Waitaanga's or through Aria?

Leaving Awakino at 8.45. Are you staying in Te Wera with us or just joining for the day?

Some of you are going to go hungry!

As I can't match all of the names of people booked into Awakino etc with your Kiwi biker names, I can't tell you who has NOT yet paid for their Saturday night meal. From a quick count 18 have paid, two have told me that it is in the bank and I should see it soon, so that leaves 3 of you either out hunting possums or lining up and waiting for KFC Te Wera to open......

If you have not got a pm back from me confirming receipt of your $25.00 for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast, it means that I have not seen your $$ hit the account.

    Over to you.

Can you all please make sure that the details I have posted on the TTTTT details thread are correct, we don't want to leave anyone behind and will be using that to work out who we are meeting where.

    Almost Ready

My rear tyre was almost totaly BALD after last weekend, Suzi Girl and i were doing some gravel training on the Raglan to Kawhia Rds.

Sooo a quick call to cycletreads on monday morning saw a new michelin T63 arrive here yesterday . Fitted the tyre last night without pinching the tube ( always a bonus ) and gave the bike a service at the same time.

YOUNG 1 - good to see that you have got the important things organized like the BEER but i think you may have forgotten that phone call to Jim Hickey.
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time

I also have a new tyre on for this weekend, just need to find a bit of gravel early on to scrub it in.

Re Jim Hickey - he will come through......

Good news - there will be no one having to share a double bed at Awakino tomorrow night, the "other group" of bikers has had some late cancellations so they have some spare beds in the hotel for us.

We will be operating a corner man system, both the leader and tail end charlie will have an orange high visibility jacket on. We will explain how this will work at the Ohura stop. Most of you already know but with so many bikes it would be easy to lose one.

The Regional Council has also strengthened a couple of the little bridges to get the axle weights up to BMW GS loadings.......

Check the GS's for correct tool kits.
We had an '07 and an '08 GS Adv with us and neither of them was packing a spark plug spanner. After drowning one in a stream, we discovered that KTM tools fitted.

B@stard!! It is just so easy to put them on though vs strapping something to the back of my seat.
