So after checking with the NZ Army (why do I hear you ask.... my son is going in the army and there was confusion as to when the first visitors day is) and counting up all of your replies it looks as though it will be the first weekend (27 and 28 September) as that is the most popular.

That should still give the local councils time to strengthen the bridges to allow the big beemers to go across safely.

Phil will now check with Te Wera camp (won't you Phil!) and once that is confirmed I will post it here and in the calendar.

Will check with TeWera 2morow. I also have a lead on a fuel source out Whanga way. Will try to make contact there aswell.

Another Taranaki tunnel. If we get some dry weather (YEA RITE) we may be able to get to this one.

If they can handle two stock trucks side by side I think that I should just be able to squeeze through.

Confirmed dates are 27 and 28 September.
I have listed the ride on the calendar so please register your interest there (hopefully I have done that right!).

It is likely that there will be a few more riders than just those on the KB list as some other Naki Adventure riders (who aren't as computer literate as the rest of us) may be joining us!

Officially 35 litres each side, but then I have got two gas tanks (must have with two filler caps) so could fill one of those up too. The true party bike...

It is just a shame than no one hung round long enough to see me use the low loader ramp as a jump, which I used to clear both the digger and the truck!!

    Dont forget to register!

Right, I'm booked in, now, do I need a new rear or is bald a good look?

    Something to consider:
Friday I'm in taupo early (probably) so I could do the 42nd Traverse, Fishers track and then make my way to Whangamomona for the night......... a bit weather dependant but any others interested?
