    We will be riding from Awakino to Ohura, meeting at least one (MOTOXNUT) there, then on to Forgotten World highway, heading South but turning West towards Mt Dampner, so there are lots of places there we can meet up with you.

    Mike - since I'm coming from the South on Friday PM and Awakino sounds like it's way full I'll either stay at Taumarunui or Whangamomona and meet you at Ohura along with the others at 10.15am ish on Sat AM - cheers Aslan aka Stephen O

    Numbers are coming together well, currently 12 have paid their money for the Saturday dinner / Sunday breakfast. Then there is Phil and Dawn, myself, plus 3 more riders (maybe more) from the Naki.

    So that I can keep track of people PLEASE UPDATE THE CALENDAR IF YOU ARE NO LONGER DOING THE RIDE

    Now I have to organise the weather, oh and I nearly forgot - I have to make sure the lights are on in the tunnels for those wellington riders used to the Terrace and Mt Victoria tunnels!

    AWAKINO ACCOMODATION UPDATE

    They now have 13 booked into the house and flat. That is all they can take. If you do not have somewhere to stay on Friday I suggest;

    Seaview Holiday Park (approx 3km south of the pub) 0800 478 786 or
    Mokau Inn Motel 06 752 9725

    Awakino accomodation is sleeping bags. Accomodation cost is $15.00 per head. It may mean two sleeping bags on a double bed (but isn't that part of the adventure!!) and others are on mattresses on floor.

    As the hotel has another group of bikers staying they will put on a smorgasboard on Friday night for $20.00 per head.

    i will post details early next week of the route, approx distances, petrol stops etc
