Gel seats good bad or ugly

I looked into a Triumph Gel seat for the triple, but was strongly advised not to. I was told they are slippery and get pretty hot in summer, so I ended up getting a Sargent seat from the US.

could be quite comfy , just pull stuffing out old seat and fill with this shit

Only thing is, you'd get off the bike after burning through a tank of petrol, and there'd be two round cheek imprints on your seat.

There must be something wrong with me - I don't find my it uncomfortable on my vibrating-with-thin-as-seat Harley even after a whole day riding, diffrnt strokes fer diffrnt folks I guess...

Not all of us have such a luxury posterior as yourself though
