For those with Long Memories (Bantam Post Office Colour Scheme)

Does anybody have a pic of a Post Office Bantam and its colour scheme?
I am restoring one and the creme green is.... to say the least.

    Thanx

    Cool

why not try contacting NZ Post head office..... they may have it in their archives.... or they may be able to put you onto to their mechanic's.. as they still run bikes...especially in the rural area's.... so someone in the NZ Post should have the answer that you are seeking. Good luck.

Or try Te Papa in weelywindy
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I'm pretty sure that they were red, but that's just what my Dad told. Even I'm not that old!

There are a bunch of people in the UK that restore the poor little things to their former PO glory. I'll bet a hat full of farty arseholes they have a website.

Their are various Post Office recreation societies around the place, if you live in Auckland I would suggest Motat.

I guess they were used to deliver telegram's?

Amazing eh! Once the humble bantam was a device to deliver the swiftest communications.. Eek!
