Friends dont let friends ride Hyosungs
No, I dont think I'm being too fussy. The test undertaken with my bike and the control bike was conducted at given points on the bike at 500 RPM intervals. I went back to the dealer with letters demanding my money back as stated under the Consumer Guarantees Act. I cited sections about Acceptable Quality and Fit for pupose. It all fell on deaf ears. Honda NZ were intially simpathetic to my complaints but felt that they had fixed the problem when they stripped and balanced the engine.
I dont think I am a grizzle guts, I just want to enjoy my investment
Not at all. I'm only judging based on the fact that he says in the first post that Honda (the dealer, I guess) has told him vibrates 7-10 times more than a control bike. This, of course, is all relative (7-10 times on what scale??)
And I presume he test-rode another bike and it didn't have the same vibration "problem". (again, assuming he wouldn't have bought it if it did).
If this still hasn't been sorted, I can help... I ride one normally 6 days a week, several hundred km per week, so I think I might spot if it vibrates a bit much![]()

No one deserves to be duck shoved like this after forking over $11K - if you think there is a genuine problem that the retailer needs to deal with.. .post the name and see what a bad rep on KB does for your situation... also - a few KB's rocking up to the retailer with you to call them on the issue might go a long way....
Sucks big time on the face of what you've said....
You should have offered the bike for use at the boobs on bikes parade... might have made it more interesting!

Naw, you've heard only one side of the story... if he honestly believes he's being screwed, and there's no fix forthcoming, then that only leaves you with court? Should they lose in court, then name and shame away I say...
have you found a test rider yet?
