I don't HAVE a garage (Another annoying story for when I'm bored), and my bike isn't even with me (till tomorrow). So, you are wrong my friend.

When it IS in the garage, it's not so much decoration, rather, ART

Wonder if you can ask the servo for compensation (if it was their forecourt not the road)

Surely they owe a duty of care to punters using their facilities? Isnt it reasonably foreseeable that if there is gravel on their forecourt that customers i.e. motorcycles might come to greif on it, especially if it isnt easily visible?

depends on your insurance status to a certain extent. If you are covered then no problem... if you have to front yourself then maybe (big maybe) its a potential avenue for recovery...

Hope you arent too sore this morning....

    Hehe, just had a thought

You could have scared the living hell out of the forcourt people if you said, "Lucky the sparks stopped before I got too close"
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
