I always used to reference the fact that some freak could see your cool car or bike and decide to find out where you live (where the vehicle has its registered address) through the official information act, but that if you suspect someone has used this facility (ie theft or attempted break-in into the garage) you weren't allowed to ask who had enquired about your address due to the privacy act You'd have to get the cops to investigate
