    Help needed on insurance query

i lost my licence a while back on just busting my points and i have had my licence back for about 15 months.

my question is how long is it before the insurance companies ignor this event??
i am sure it will not be as quick as 15 months but i am looking at saving up and buying a new bike at the end of the year. so will over two years with say (fingers crossed ) only one fine for 110k in 100 be sufficant for the big companies to be happy to insure me??

any help will be most helpful

    Cheers

    JB

Uhm. Seven years if the new disclosure law has anything to do with it. Heh. Most companies will ask the question "have you ever been disqualified from driving/riding. Lost your licence etc". It'll be a while...

edit: yeah they'll most likely insure you, but your premiums might have the gays for a while.

Don't be silly. It's their money they have to pay out on claims, they're just assessing risk. If you've lost your licence it probably means you ride like a twat, which means you're more likely to cost them in claims.

You can't see my point? OK.

Let's say I give you a million dollars as a slush fund, and tell you to go start an insurance company selling policies to motorcycle riders. If you don't show a profit every year, I'll put a hot poker up your arse without Vaseline.

Spend a week thinking about how you'd solve that commercial problem. Perhaps understanding will dawn, and you'll stop saying things like "they are C$nts like that".
