I think you should have a few days off riding... maybe someone upstairs is trying to tell you something. Blowing up motors, ruining helmets... what next?

Mate, if I did that everytime something bad happened when I rode then I would have to give up riding altogether. I choose to try and ignore it and be as careful as I can with the things I *can* control, its the only thing that gets me through.....

When I worked with Maverick up in Ponsnobby we went for a quick squirt down the Southern Highway to get Burgerfuel. As I was overtaking a quarry truck I got showered in stones and it took out my indicator completely.

I wasn't too amused but it was only $50 coz it's a Ducati - if it had been a Honda or Suzuki I'd be looking at around $120 to replace.

Dead right! One thing that is constant in life is that 'shit happens', thankfully and often over time it balances out (dependent on Karma of course....) and some of the shit is bad and some of it is good.
Though often when you're in a 'bad shit' phase it can seem like that's all there is!

Don't spose you checked the headlight when ya got home did ya ?
Could be an addition to ya claim yet !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
