I was at the ride, so was my daughter on her hyosung (which by the way she can stunt that thing better than anything ive seen on your lame vids, and she dosnt make a song and dance of it),she dosnt know anything about the moron few, but came back talking about some morons there, now thats funny.![]()
All this time I though it was the Moron Few...... Only just realised the word is Mormon!!! Like my one better.
"I am a licenced motorcycle instructor, I agree with dangerousbastard, no point in repeating what he said."
"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
"Wow, Great advise there DB."
WTB: Hyosung bikes or going or not.
That has to be the slowest ride I have ever, ever been on, not even getting up to the speed limits allowable in places. I was scrubbing in new tyres and Malcolm was two up and we still could've done the circuit twice in the same time - actually we pissed off and did our own ride.
Never been on a 'Honda club riders' ride before - are they all like that? Gay!
Actually the road works were fun for some reason - just loose enough to have some fun on a road bike, and not to heavy. Your 400 would've carved it up.
Malcolm wanted a new battery for his CBR, they didn't have one? You would think a Honda shop would have one for a CBR, they would'nt take one out of the several CBRs in the shop for him - but would order one in for over $80.
Went back up to Boyds - got one off the shelf for $45
They'll have to do better than that I think.
Bullshit - I saw you drooling over the DN-01, I know you want one
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on
the DN-no one will buy it? oh yeah!
fuck yeah, i went back for a second shot at the road works, did them at 120-130kph, got air over those first few humps.
we pissed off the slow brigade, but seriously, they were so slow, like real slow.
i got the worst economy ever on the DRZ, 11k/l
the honda riders club are always excellent hosts though!
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on
Carver can be a twat at times but hes dead right about Hyosungs, and even more so about the fact that anyone riding a Hyosung 250 really doesnt have a leg to stand on to look down their nose at anyone who rides a real bike, even a mormon few member.
.
No hyosungs at the ride aye, maybe you need glasses, yes ur right i wasnt on a cbr929?, whos confused?
ps, im going to do some real fishing this weekend
