ta for that, I think I understand what a drag coefficient is now, would I be correct in saying that it is a semi-abstract number that can only be found through measurement of other variables, and used to plug in to other calculations?

That's as good a guess as any. I thought it was the name of a gay coffee bar. But then numbers are not realy my thing. Now terminal velocity, now there's a name a potent cocktail.

But if the coppers were inside the car with the windows all up, the weight of the car would increase, and the drag would be the same since the outside of the car wouldn't have changed, so I'd think it would go faster :spudwhat:

I'm no Einstien but, EVENTUALLY the object falling would get to a speed that balanced out the pull of gravity, i.e. it couldn't get pulled any faster.
