If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
hope you didn't pay any cash for it.
having said that there's money to be made in caravans if you can do a good job, especially in the finishing work, but that project looks like a shit load of work and $$$$ to be thrown at it.
Good Luck

Bollocks, get of your arse and go get it
the wheels go around
it was free (like I'd pay for that), the windows being broken is a bit of a bummer, thats probably the worst, but its only happened in the last few days, (hell my own kids have been known to roam armed with a slug gun)the interior is mostly stripped, bugger all water damage so far, I'll strip the lining out and repair the framework over xmas, should be good to roll by next xmas.I'll be able to lift the floor and inspect the chassis too.
some of the cabinets are still ok (will modernise benchtops and cupboard fronts)

My Bet - you will throw some money at it and either get bored or realize that its going to cost mucho $$$$ to make it a caravan worth staying in (and far more than the cost of a new caravan).
At this point you will throw in the towel and put it on tardme.
Go for scrap now and save the $$$ while you can.
There are few items worth restoring - classics that will appreciate in value - or something that you are doing for the love and $$$ money does not come into the equation - This caravan Im guessing is neither.
Check out arj127's sig - oh, don't bother, you wont get past his avatar.
nah, I have been on a mission for years, collecting all the stuff I will need, I have done one once before that was crash damaged (that was a mission), this one at least all the panels are in reasonable order, It wont be too big a deal to close it in, insulate and line it, a lick of paint and she'll be a sweet tin tent..
its supposed to start life as a rumpas room for the kids anyway.
its never going to be an airconditioned snobmobile, how much luxury do you need?

ordered the glass todayonce I get the windows in, I'll be able to be towed home. its pissing down here so I chucked a cover over it and fucked around inside for a while. what joinery that is left is mostly ok but filthy (kitchenette, wardrobe, sofa/bed, pelmets, overhead lockers). but the wall board is soft in more than a few places so I cant wait to start stripping it back, floor feels ok too no soft spots that I can see,
heres a pic of the inside
