I'd been thinking about getting away 1st thing Friday and heading down via Haka, Mckenzies, Danseys, but hadn't come up with a plan beyond there, and would prefer to have company on the trip. Black Forest would suit me fine.

When are you planning on leaving home?

Friday morning Mckenzies, blackforest to Oldriders, Danseys wouldn't mind doing the Dunstan again but it might be closed so open to suggestions

There's a lot more snow up there this year. I was thinking about Thompson's Gorge, but even that is still snowed in with a couple of meters of snow at the top. Its not likely to all melt in the next 3 weeks, or if it did, then all streams and rivers would be in flood.
