Hey, don't let anything take away your fun. When I got my first Hayabusa, I was all gushy too. I would sit in the garage and look at it. I even polished and cleaned it! Don't let the shit stirrers wind you up. GO RIDE it! That'll clear yer head...

Oh by the way, my bike DOESN'T burn oil. She is perfect, unfortunately for you, not in a gay way.
So, given the bitch a name yet? Of course you have... You're a Honda owner. They give sentimental names to everything...

As for Honda reliabilty, I don't care actually...

If you are so insecure about your bike that you have to justify anything, then you really need help...

Frankly I don't give a hoot if its a Suzuki a Honda a Ducati ......etc its a dam NEW BIKE and the owner is proud of it.

If you have nothing positive to say about it go to another thread or do everyone a favor and turn your computer off.

I don't understand some of you lot.
But them you'll categorise me as a gay loving arse sucker as I too own a Honda.

    Enjoy your new ride.

    Thanks man.

By the way what year is your hornet? My dad thinks of getting one as well. I've hear that they have redesign the bike for 2008, but the new model isn't available in NZ. So my question is, do you think it is still worth getting a new 919 hornet 07, or is it wiser to wait for the new model to arrive?

    Mines a 07 - 10 months old.

The new one is the CB1000R due here next month I believe.

    link to Honda NZ here
    http://www.honda-motorcycles.co.nz/b...p?BikeTypeId=4

However its priced at $19k where as you can get the 'old' one for $11.

Granted it will be a superior bike, but for my riding and importantly, budget I'm very happy with my 900. At $11k the existing bike is a bargain if you are looking for a good honest all-rounder.

    Nice bike mate enjoy!!

Gets hot FAST. Standing at the street lights in the rain will make you look like a steam train. Literally gets soo steam, all the rear view mirrors, the clock and the screen get foggy.

My CBR does the same thing lol.
