    Tauranga - anyone road-test a 250?

My nephew's in the army overseas and because his uncle is soooo cool and rides a bike, he wants one too.

It's a Kawasaki ZXR import. It has a bit of gravel rash, rusty chain and is unregistered atm but he is keen on it if there's nothing nasty with it. It's at Adrenalyn Motorcyles (whoever they are) This is the listing

If anyone there would like to check it out there's a bed and a beer here when you're next in Welly. PM me for details

    ... bump ...

I could ride up from Welly and do it but last time I did that i got lost in the forest between Tauranga and Te Puke for 90 minutes ... and I turned the 600k journey into 895k but that part was fun

Losing Grub for another couple of days is appealing ... but it would be easier if someone could do the road test.

That would be mint my man, I'll let him know. It'll be this guy's first bike so I imagine that he will rash it anyway, at the very least in a walking pace woops. So he accepts the scratches etc. It's the stuff like the chain, disk wear and cam chain tensioner rattle ... all the stuff that costs heaps to fix.
