Just remember that they cost more to fix when they get gravel rash ... So be warned Jim...
A man can move much faster without a millstone around his neck, so if he gets the chance to lose her he'd better drop her and run like heck !! .. (10cc "Modern Man Blues" - Deceptive Bends)

At the price I'm looking at it will be a write off if it does go down.

You can mock all you want, but I am perfectly aware of what happens to bikes in my budget range when it goes wrong.

    So there.

    Saw those.

The Black 900SS isn't standard and has been repainted due to a couple of bins. The Fireblade owner hasn't returned my call.

The SV leaves me with nothing left over to buy Insurance Plus I do NOT need to piss Frosty off again

Jim, you'll never know the pranks I talked that fella out of pulling on you...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Check for crack's around headset area & see if it's had it's Rectifier /regulator been done as this is something that most Duke's have trouble with . If these go & the bike over charge's then they usely blow their coil's not long after . Duke wiring on the early 90's bike's not that great & pay's to check the connection's regularly for corrosion .

    .

As fate would have it, I spoke with an Oakley dealer from Chch yesterday, and he tells me that my Oakley Titanium Ducati-laser-etched-lens Juliets for which I paid $699.95 (NOT $700) have, because of the exchange rate, come down somewhat in price. I was too crestfallen to ask exactly how much....

He also tells me there are several new styles of Oakley Ducati laser-etched-lens sunnies now available. I've asked him to send me a catalogue (to work so Hamish doesn't know).

Anyone who's interested - the shop is in Northlands Mall in Christchurch, called something like "Exotic Eyes" and tell them Lynda sent you.
