    need 4 speed..

been feelin the temptation to just let that throttle roll on and on, thing is, I don't want to loose my license, bike, or worse, life, doing 250+ on the public free way.. But Puke is closed until mid-March and the Taupo track isn't fast enough..

anyone got any ideas of how to scare the crap out of myself without the risk of other people in the way in the Auckyland region? I can deal with me doing 250+ on a track or runway or something, but I ain't doing even half that speed on the public freeways to be fair..

Hey, a runway wouldn't be a bad idea.. can that be arranged if there were enough of us?

I'm not being an irresponsible rider by doing this, I'm hoping to be the opposite actually, by not wanting to do this on the public roads.. but I'm really itchin here..
    ideas?

Form an underground race club. You could call it Need 4 Speed Underground.

    No wait......that's taken.

How about "Need 4 Speed Underground 2"?

lol.. thought had crossed my mind, but then that'd be askin for trouble..!!

had thought about the drags too, but I'm not too keen on revvin the tits of the bike to drop the clutch and stress everything out for 11 seconds of acceleration.. plus where's the corners on that? Can't get yer knee down round there..

I dunno the Auckland region at all, but down here there are a few spots we know for doin big speeds. You gotta find somewhere where there are no people or traffic and a nice road with good visibilty and no potential hazards.
Or else you'll have to make the trip down to Wellington and let loose at the east-west sprints(if you can hold out that long).

there's a few places I know that are like sweet candy to a baby - about 5km bullet-straight roads with fresh seal tarmac. I try to stay away from those places, else I'd be had. I'm sure the cops probably love to sit on those spots.. That's why I'm outta ideas and asking, only thing I can think of are these few freeways where people and cops selfishly use the same roads. Stay away from them peeps.. not good..
