I'd send it off to McDonalds motor trimmers in Tauranga. http://www.trimit.co.nz
They do an awesome job and a quick turnaround.

Ahh bugger now that McJim and Chickadee are on the mainland, they do a spiffing job on seat recovering! After I wore a split into my last covering, the heavy duty job McJim did is holding up minters.

Not that it helps you any I guess, mys bad!

It depends if you want a professional, multicoloured, emboridered job or just a utilitarian fix but if you go to Spotlight you can buy some heavy duty black vinyl, a decent quality staple gun and a pair of scissors and go for your life.

Worked for me so well that we did a few friends seats too.

Anyone know how much it would cost to get a seat made wider for those of us with fat arses.

$500-$550+GST normally for our full custom jobs. (replace foam, new cover etc)
and for that we customise it to how you want it, with our specialised foam.

We can do cheaper ones really depends on what people needs are.
