    Devil's an Angel

Well Devil turned out to be the guardian angel to my bike.

    My bike got sick:

And here comes this post from a guy I probably only spoke to for 2 seconds in my whole life that too on our last Jaffa ride........

Then he visits me all the way from over the bridge and far away and fixes the bike, just for the sake of helping a fellow biker...........

    Well Thanks Devil.

This is just another case of the great people we have out here in KB'Land

I think it is important that we make it a point of mentioning all such cases.......

And don't forget to give him good rep points

    Missed this thread.
    yay for me

Glad I could help. Had plenty of trouble around that area myself and I know what its like not being able to get on a KB ride because the bike isnt happy!

Tip for electrical issues for everyone. Know where the fuses are on your bike, they're pretty much the first place to check when everything stops. Always carry spares.

Oh JSG, that reminds me. Head out when you can and make yourself up a toolkit. Doesnt need to be huge, just the important parts:
*Screwdriver (reversible head ones take up the least space, phillips and flat head).
    *Spare fuses. 30A, 15A, 10A.
*Allen keys, specifically the ones to get your fairing off. ie. to get at fuses.

    Well done

Well done Devil, nice to hear about shit like that, nice people doing nice things. That's what I love about this country.

Thanks for the advice on the toolkit, I got one that came with the bike but I don't have spare fuses, I'm going to get some right now from Colemans on K road at lunch time.

    Cheers

Check petrol stations too. They normally have a pack of mixed ones. Very cheap.
