    A siren on bike?

I have a fire siren that I've got and I plan to install onto my bike lol

I was wondering if anyone knows what the law is about having a siren on a vechical?

I'll connect it to a switch so its only on when I want.

Attempting to impersonate police is an offence, big question is WHY you would want to fit it...for what purpose ???

    The short answer: No.

    From the LTNZ Website:

    Mandatory equipment:
    1. A motorcycle must be fitted with a device (horn) that
is audible to other road users.

    Permitted equipment
    2. A motorcycle may be fitted with a bell, whistle or
    siren, only as follows:
    a) a siren fitted to an emergency vehicle, or
    b) a siren, bell or whistle that is part of an anti-theft
car alarm, personal security alarm or a reversing
    warning device.

A siren that imitates an emergency vehicle is a serious no-no.

i've always liked the idea of a small sub-machine gun, mounted to the front forks, personally ..............

That was a lame video. I tried to find one where he've put sirens on his GSXR and raced it around town with some other bike.
Btw if you dont know who that is, thats Ghost Rider. Google it. That guy is completly mad.
