Drivers who hog the right hand lane when they are not passing anyone?

Yes it does bear commenting on but I can't think of anything that's witty and to the point. Simple abuse wouldn't work on someone who has the intellect to reason that doing that is a reasonable thing to do and not a right pain in the arse. In fact it is illegal, and has also been the subject of various disparaging remarks on this very forum.

"Wanker" is the word that springs to mind.

Seattle (USA) had a rule when I was there that if you had more than 3 cars following, on a normal 2-way road, then you had to pull over and let them past. I think in the UK you must pass only on the right, BUT, you must also keep left unless overtaking. sort of like here but maybe enforced a bit more.

Yes that is correct for the UK, but I was under the impression that that particular rule isn't in NZ law.

I found driving in the UK to be a joy compared to NZ, even with the massive differences in traffic volume. People are 5 billion times (no hyperbole I assure you) more polite in the UK, and the general level of road rule knowledge and vehicle competence is much higher than NZ.

Another that pisses me off is at pedestrian crossings where people push the cross button then just saunter over anyway, and youre left waiting at the crossing with no one there. Hey, just cross without pushing the button or bloody wait, all right?
