Looks like I'll be doing co-pilot duties in the chase vehicle this time.
    The DR is a no-goer

Still 3 days before kick off
Surely a man of your abillity could sort something before then, or you could ride the XR.

We don't get back to Nelson untill the 2nd. and the XR has no reg/warrant/road legal tyres. It'd be fun though

2 Dayers need something to eat on the Saturday night, right, so we've been thinking of making some of this (attached picture, tastes better than it looks) for tea, maybe with a little salad on the side, and a cheeky bottle of red to wash it all down (maybe 2 bottles)
Anyhow. If any body else wants any raise your hand (p.m. or post) before I start in the kitchen.

Surely there must be someone in Nelson with a bike Nordie could borrow?

I couldn't imagine a ride that doesn't involve him racing off at a million miles/hr to get in position for the next photo shoot.

He's a very generous guy that gives a lot to adv riding in this area. I would if I had 2 bikes

Have I guilted anyone enough to part with one of their precious steeds for 2 days of abuse?

Well..... after my little ride yesterday I decided to do something with the seat, to make things a little more comfortable.

Step 1- a wee piece of closed cell foam
Step 2- a wee piece of sheepskin, left over from when the kids were babies
Step 3- attach to seat, bungies are your friend
Step 4- it even fits on the bike
