I have no idea about photobucket or facebook. Never been there and don't know how they do things but those links should help.
I use my own site to host my pics.
I'm only using about 2Gb of my 5Gb storage allowance

ohh yous so lucky, daylight to show you the way on the Mangatapu and a view up Mt Altimarlock. When we were up Mt Altimarlock there was maybe 40 meters visability in the cold grey cloud and a bigish wind.

TA - I salute you and the rest of the 1 day enthusiasts

I succeded in finding 'the hole' on the way up the Maungatapu (swallowed the front wheel but Momentum was my friend) - despite the daylight and found the ascnet of Altimarlock toward the top tiring

Sorry to hear about your machine - cheers Aslan

aah ,so theres a view from the top of Mt Alt ! I stopped up there to let some air out of my forks as the front was bouncing uncontrolably on those rocks and the weather was naasty , thick cloud and gale force wind. Crazyfrog , did you get blown off the road on the way up or down ? and whats the verdict on the KTM motor?

Wifey and I just went out and purchased a GME MT410 PLB as it connects diretly to the emergency services and doesn't rely on an intermediate private company. Down side of the PLB's is that it does not sent "OK" messages, doesnt track your progress for others to see in real time and you cannot sent a non emergency "help" message (good for when you break down but dont need emergency services). Down side of SPOT is it is more reliant on good satalite reception, as it uses a different set of satalites which dont cover the whole world.

In ammerican dollars the costs are almost the same over about 5 years. This being the case the GME MT410 cost us about NZ$600 from Burnsco Nelson. Pricey but it will be carried for everything from tramping, alpine climbing motorcycling, "caging" to boating.

    Cheers R
    Thanks guys for the info

I will do some research - Spot seems like a brilliant idea for solo adventure/trail rides.
