Slightly off topic, but can anyone recommend a camping ground at that time of year that isn't full of young dickheads. So far we've looked at Brook Valley Holiday Park, which looks nice.Other than that,I have no idea

How long will you be in Nelson ? Tasman district allows freedom camping if you don't mind slumming it a bit, plenty of scope there, might even come up with something else between now and then

If I was by myself it wouldn't be too much of a worry, but since I'll be bringing my wife and 2 year old.. I think we need something with amenities

The locals might be able to correct if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that most of the drop kick toy racers go up to the Maitai Camp now (burn outs outside the camp at 5.30 on the way through during the dusty anyone ). I believe that Tahunani is now relatively dickhead free. Not sure about the Brook sorry.

Looks like my holidays will be in the South Island now so no problem being at the right place and time.
I've added my name to the list.
Waitangi weekend is still a go for 2day for me too.
