I guess people will always be able to find something to complain about...
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

2; The road is different to a race track. Road riders do not necessarily hold "a line" because they are travelling at a much slower pace and may actually change lines at any moment, like moving to another part within their lane for a better entry into a corner. This is a big difference to a racer on a track who will be pretty much holding a predictable line.

This means to be safe it pays to overtake completely in the other lane - not try to push through beside them in their lane that they have every right to use every part of as they see fit to get through a corner and avoid any bumps etc. Remember they probably haven't seen you coming anyhow.

Of course overtaking in the other lane only limits overtaking in corners where there is adequate visibility ahead. (and allow for the possibility of a fast travelling bike coming the other way) Otherwise wait for a straight.
Right.... that's the AS SEEN ON TV version.

In the real world when people on fast bikes slow down people on slower bikes corners are the only place to overtake.

Not the smartest thing to do, but adrenalin, testosterone and the thrill of overtaking around a corner overcome good sense a little too often.

Well you've got the bike to do it on so I'll give you the benefit of doubt.

If that guy could get his knee down on those roads - at those speeds - as there are few places to do those speeds, miranda straights, the parts near the end toward Howick/Pakuranga, etc you're talking about a VERY fast rider.

Exactly the same as the "international rules of the sea"... Overtaking ship makes sure to stay clear.

We all just need to ride to our own capabilities , riders need to think getting there 10 minutes later is better than not getting there at all . Not that i am 1 to bitch but i do see some crazy shit out there

No, I was going to give him way at a straight anyway, I wasn't racing him at all, I didn't see him till the last moment. I was just having a bitta fun.

By the way, a fair quastion to you, do you happen to own a red\dark grey Honda CBR 600 RR 07-08 model?
    1. no.

That's the tragedy isn't it. You (not you, the hypothetical you) can't play the hero in your dick measuring contest and show how skilled you are... or how the k5 is better than the k8...

Fuck, what's the point of riding then.

Nice. Lovely roads. There's good visibility there. The bugger must have been doing 200+ to close on to your like that.

I had a dream once of riding from Kopu Mobil, via those roads to Botany Downs in just under an hour at 2am one Fri night/Sat morn.

Glad you're in one piece mate, hope you find your cowl too.

Lol you read only what you want to read. As I said i didn't see him till the LAST MOMENT as i was leaning in to the corner. A few seconds before that something blinked in my rear mirrors so i though it was some other bike.
Think what you want, but if you cant read properly im no primary school teacher. The less we know the more we suspect?

Have you actually got a bike at the moment, or are you still saving up after totalling your GSXR without any insurance?

No bike at the moment and no plans to buy one soon either. I'm living my life through your (KB'er) posts.

The economy is seriously f'ked here in Aussie at the moment and there are too many redundancies being handed out everywhere. Or else I'd get a little 600 and would have started biking by now.

That dream was a long time ago back in 2007 on my 636..
