Actually it's more like experience - and I would seriously like to know why HD guys rarely wave back (and then get pissy when you ask them).
Shit man dont ya know all harley riders ae fuck wits, they spend far to many cabbages on fuckin bike over weight bikes that dont handle and have no power. And you wounder why they done wave to you? shit man they are too busy trying to keep the heap of shit upright and keep up to the speed limit as not to have ques of traffic build up behind them as they wonder all over the road trying to keep controll.

Harden up and get a life

I thought they didn't wave because they are always looking at themselves in their mirrors????

I rode out to Raglan on Sunday with an Aprilia and 3 Harleys. Never seen so many cops on one stretch of road before!!!! Fortunately when we were heading IN to Raglan most peeps were leaving and the cops were all parked on the other side of the road with no show of doing a U-turn and giving chase to us!!!

BUT when needed I did flash my light at any bike that was heading out...Fark letting go of the handle bars! Had the Aprilia up my date and was moving...LOL.

    hahahahahahaha

Thats cause the rally was out there on the Sunday and all the hoon cagers were out in force. I went to Pirongia, Te Awamutu, Cambridge, Matamata, Te Aroha, Morrinsville, Hamilton and did not see one cop. Plenty of Harleys tho (they are getting a bit boring now). 50/50 on acknowledging a wave.

    stereotypes on bikes....

possibly the biggest stereotype is the sports bike rider who slaggs off harleys without ever having ridden one

and then goes on to justify how much better his bike is

The best stereotype I've seen on a motorcycle is the Goldwing's - must be at least 100 watts.

I happily ride with four or five other other guys on harleys, various cruisers as well various other sports heck I'll with anyone who wants to go for a ride... just don't act like a twat while on the road and all will be good... act like a twat and I 'll never ride with you again... simple really

I cant believe how much crying is to be had over whether someone waves at you or not... and it seems to me that certain sportsbike riders generally start these threads. Im not sure Ive ever read a thread started by a cruiser rider crying about sportsbikers not waving...?

Harley & Cruiser riders... please take note - it would appear that your waves are very important to certain Sportbike riders, which shows how much respek and esteem you are held in... for your wave (or lack there of) can be cause for much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
