    09 buell 1125r & 1125cr

    Hi fellow kb'sfound these pics of the new buell 1125r's and thought i get ya views on its new looks.

    Yeah, and the frame is really wide too - a little tip over might = write off.

    They aren't intakes - they are the radiators.
    They are mounted on either side of the engine to allow it (engine) to be mounted further forward in the chassis. They also swing out of the way for servicing.

    Don't judge it till you see it in the flesh. They are not as prominent as in the photos.

    IMO The 8 pot ZTL disk brake is fantastic. It provides similar performance to a GSXR setup but is 2.5kgs of unsprung weight lighter.

    They are designed for minimal damage for minor tipovers. The XB crash pucks work really well at low speed - the radiators act as crumple zones too.

    The mirrors look like bunny ears, and like everything american (or american made better said, before those sex jokes will start rolling in) all is wide with a cornering tendecy of a pickup truck. My mate in the US had a test ride on it (how on earth he got his hands on er' I have no idea) and told me all in all a beautiful machine to ride and if you like the contrevercial looks would be anyones dream.
