Add cruisers and scooters with their low center of gravity and seat height to your list of aids/improvements.
Personally I find the Tiger's height/wieght a bit tricky for my skinny old legs at times these days!
Doug B at 76? I think is one of KB's oldest members but I know a few in their 80's still out their riding two wheels.John.
that, one breed of bike that gets car mileages from its build quality and design--parallel twin was it?

The oldest biker I know is one of our Ulysses Club members. I'm not sure of his exact age but he must be well into his 70's, maybe 80.
I put a video of him on YouTube.
Listen to what he says at the end of the video:

Can someone tell me how to insert a video, or a photo? I cannot see those options. Thanks.
Aint it the truth, I'm the oposite of that program (life on mars) I fell asleep in 1978 and woke up yesterday, how does 30 years go in a bloomin fortnight!
You sir are an inspiration, bloody well done and long may you have the sun and wind on yer back and a rumble between your legs. Top bloke.
True true, Ignore the wisdom and experience of the older biker generation at your peril. I've nothing but respect for em.
Any one ever heard of Vale Onslow, Semi famous in Britland, still riding in his nineties, I think he may have left us now mores the pitty, that bloke had engine oil for blood.
Edit; Apologies, Len left us in 2004 at 103 years of age and rode up to 102 years old. Amazing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Len_Vale-Onslow
Oh bugger
Dave Dixon, 80 plus and still riding. Mostly with the Classic Japanese Motorcycle Group here in Christchurch.
Go Mate!!
Well I'm feeling much better. Thought I was out of my tree learning to ride at 60. Rode (fell off) a 150 Vespa in the mid 60's, hated it. Love my GN250 but want a proper one now. Only a couple of months before I can sit my restricted, then on to a full. I can't afford to wish my life away. Boy, it makes me feel young again, where did the last 40 years go? did I enjoy it? can I do it again please, I'll get it right this time I promise.![]()
