    Motorcycle Airboz!

Can we please have a sub forum for scams?!

I came across a test for this thing in a Cycleworld mag and haven't stopped laughing all day.

ClearInnovations description of the AirBozs effect on performance is interesting, if illogical. The fan has no motor, it just sits there.

    Tested on three bikes, a GSX-R600 made 0.4hp more, a ZX10R made 0.35hp more and a CBR600RR lost a whopping 4hp and 2 foot-pounds of torque.

If ya want to spend $100US on sweet FA, follow the link.

The perpetual motion of the counter-clockwise fan blades increases the air velocity creating more horsepower

They must be smart cookies to create perpetual motion.

OK forgeting the 'perpetual' thing for a moment. This would only work at low speeds as air is still hitting the air ducts at the speed of the forward motion.

So how it would 'get out' I have no idea.

    Unless it is pushed.

    By a fan.

    Running backwards.

Who needs .3 or whatever hp MORE at standstill?

    Oh yeah, burnouts.

How much hp do you lose by having a fan in the airstream?

hust a big wanky rip, when everyone knows that what would make the bike (or car) go REALLY well is an Energy Polarizer, as developed and endorsed by the Aussie legend, Peter "The Boz" Brock!
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Interesting that they claim they've applied for a patent on it (although the number they give is as bent as the product).

We get a few people every so often come in where I work, wanting to patent their perpetual motion machines. We usually tell them to bring in a working prototype.......

I think by 'perpetual motion', they actually mean inertia.

it's an interesting concept, but at the end of the day all it does is block the intake unnecessarily. only really useful if you want to make a takeoff with an artificial ram air effect, and only after travelling for long and fast enough to get the fan spinning fast enough.

    Smartasses hey?

This is a great product. When installed, you can strap to it, a Flux Capacitor. THIS is what makes the bike so much faster!

Probably get the same sort of improvement by removing all the shite off your bike that is not really required hence improving the power to weight ratio. All this and wait there is more!! Call now and it will cost you nothing, thats right people all those who make contact will recieve the info for absolutely no charge!
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
