Don't get me wrong, cause i dont give a rats nugget personally, but are bike dudes still likely to make assessments of 'perceived' status/ability etc around chicken strips, or lack of? Is having no chicken strips akin to casually releasing your 12inch salami to piss on a tree stump in front of your mates, does having balls of rubber hanging of the edges mean you can 'go all night long'? Or does having an inch of vigin rubber mean..............

Depends on the tyres - the curve of some tyres will allow them to be worn right out to the edges relatively easily.

However on my RD it is impossible to scrub out the chicken strips without removing the exhausts, pegs, peg mounts and probably some of the engine covers.

i have once, mind you i think losing the front and picking the bike up with the righthand footpeg and the side of my arse may have helped.
